Alicia Keys – Her Next Moves

Alicia Keys celebrated the release of her latest record, Here, on November 4, but she didn’t just swing through The Tonight Show to perform a song and call it a day: She brought out one of the year’s best up-and-coming rappers, teamed up with The Roots, and scored a box of doughnuts before leaving the studio, too.

While “Holy War” was technically the first burst of new music we heard from Here, “Blended Family,” Keys’s collaboration with A$AP Rocky, serves as the album’s first single, and it’s what she chose to bring to The Tonight Show on the day of her record release. Young M.A — the Brooklyn rapper that’s caught the attention of Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, and countless others — filled in for Rocky to round out the massively talented group.
