BLACK SUBURBAN MUSIC – TRIZZ
Updated: Oct 12
Trizz’ new project has multiple meanings in its concept – both the kind of music you’d bump in a Black Suburban but also the manifesto of a Black Suburban man who makes music.
Trizz has mastered his styles at this point – from the horrific to the west coast and every where he wants to go in between and he has fun while producing some quality singles, videos and songs for this project.
I like that Trizz will do short songs like “Outta Pocket”. Everything doesn’t need to be so extra long – he made his point, the beat was hot and bars were dropped. Next fucking song.
There’s major west coast features like Knoc’ Turn’ Al, Brotha Lynch Hung, X-Raided, and Kokane as well as banging production from names like Aye Brook, Audio King and Phat Beats.
“this game is a simulation it’s fun n shit”
There is a maturity to this piece that I appreciated as someone who’s heard all of Trizz’s records leading up to this point. I got to ask him about some of his ideas behind the album for Untapped Hip-hop the other day as well as a few other topics- check it out:
