FAMILY & LOYALTY - GANG STARR FT. J COLE

In anticipation of the new Gang Starr record coming on November 1st, Premier grabbed Cole for this retro-edit single and the result is lovely if I'm being honest. The particular set of melodies, soulful rhythm section and Guru's poetic chorus creates a sweet melancholy that any Gang Starr fan can appreciate. 

Cole is fine on this track, the Guru verse lives up to my hopes and the instrumental is butter- slap this one time.
