LABORS – BESATREE
Besatree’s videos traverse a large swath of So Cal and it’s wild to me how they all somehow exist in the same post-industrial cigarette-stained-yet-empty milieu. I don’t know if I’m repeating myself but his aesthetic is so grimy and clean simultaneously. It shows in his visual art and the art he sets his music to and in the case of songs like this it also shines through in the song.

Tree settles scores and makes points on this simple but infectious double-time beat but ultimately takes it kinda easy and plays with drawl. The pieces he’s dropping on a bi-weekly basis are more of a unified EP (to my ears) than I was expecting – staying tuned.
