MAJESTIC SUN - ELIJVH

I've listened to this melodic, hip-hop infused vocal album by Moreno Valley area based singer-vocalist Elijvh about 3 times now and the quality of the songs on it becomes more apparent each spin.

This single "Wildflower" is among my favorites but he has several effective songs like this that remind me of being young in the mid 2000s listening to Chromeo, Daft Punk and Metric. The album spans from rap to indie rock with rap and poetry throughout. The production, mainly handled by himself, is top-notch and the I.E.-repping, self-searching positivity that the songs are about is something I can really dig. "Unforgiven"and "Chances"are other catchy upbeat songs I liked on this piece.

There are songs like "Too Far" with full-on power-ballad style in addition to chill stuff like "Moonlight in San Diego"that round out this album - this a dude who wants to write, sing, produce and share some light and we should let him. Peep this record.
