Gregory Shorter, Jr. also know as Ras G was a very big influence in the realm of hip-hop producer Los Angeles. He was associated with the record label Brainfeeder which was created by other phenomenon Flying Lotus. He was also associated with Poo-bah Records where he co-founded with Ron Stivers. Ras G had a substantial amount of work which was revered by many in the underground hip-hop scene. Today everyone mourns his death, still the cause of his death is unknown, A piece of Los Angeles beat scene has is gone forever.
